What ages is this fishing set for, and how can we play?
The BC21 54-piece set described here is for ages 3 and up. Use the magnetic rods for fishing or the nets for scooping, color sorting and counting. It contains small parts and requires adult supervision throughout. Wash and air-dry completely before storing.
Start by catching one little fish.
Place a target nearby and let your child try aiming, moving closer and lifting slowly. The BC21 fishing hook has a magnet that attracts the screw on each sea creature.
Place each catch in the bucket, then choose another target. Take turns picking a sea creature so adults and children can join in together.
Switch to a net and sort by color.
Scoop up the sea creatures with a net and sort them into buckets by color or type. Count as you scoop and see how many you find in each round.
This 54-piece set includes 46 sea creatures, fishing rods, nets, buckets and other accessories. It is for ages 3 and up, with enough pieces for up to three children to play together under continuous adult supervision.
Stay close throughout water play.
The set contains small parts. Do not let young children use it alone or put pieces in their mouths. During water play, check the water depth and temperature, monitor your child and keep them in sight at all times.
Before starting, check for damage, sharp edges or loose parts. Stop use immediately if anything is abnormal.
Wash and dry before putting away.
When playtime is over, drain the water, wash the toys and let them air-dry completely before storing. Check that all pieces are intact the next time you take them out.
